Sudah berapa mereka yang telah pergi, meninggalkan tempat itu tanpa sempat melihat, tiada wajah menyempatkan menghitungnya...

Masihkah semua yang tersisa memberikan perhatian pada tempat yang disebut jalur terbaik untuk menuju tempat itu, atau tiadakah jalur-jalur selain itu yang memungkin untuk dilaluinya?

Yang tidak tampak oleh mereka, menjadi wajar bila tidak akan mengundang rasa ingin tahu kebanyakan orang...

Pakaian yang kau pilih dan dipakai, itu tampak, dapat dilihat oleh mata orang yang melihatmu, tidak sedikit orang yang mengaitkan tentang kepribadian seseorang dengan apa yang dikenakannya, dengan kata lain ada yang sampai melewati tidak hanya yang terlihat saja ....

Biasanya kemampuan semakin bertambah semakin orang menjadi dewasa, lalu akankah kemampuan hal seperti itu juga semakin tumbuh ketika orang semakin banyak uang dan hartanya, atau singkatnya semakin kaya?

Sekecil contoh terjadi pada kadai kecil di bawah pohon rindang, serombongan keluarga dalam perjalanannya yang tampak  melelahkan beristirahat di sana, menikmati buah dan memesan sejumlah minuman buah segar. Anggota keluarga yang muda membahas bagaimana segarnya rasa dan istimewanya masing-masing pesanan mereka, sebagian ada yang bertukar mencicipi dari gelas saudaranya,  ceria suasana mengisi obrolan itu;  yang tua-tua ngobrol kian kemari tentang bahan hingga limbah dari semua kedai itu, tidak kurang satu pedagang juga menyahut dengan menunjuk kebun di belakang kedai itu. Rupanya yang ditunjukkan tentang semua limbah yang akhirnya kembali menyatu dengan tanah...

Ia tanpa perlu  memapar bagaimana pengurai datang apalagi mendefinisikan bahwa limbahnya adalah bahan tambang pangan bagi semua pengurai, tahu bahwa mereka semua mampir untuk melepas lelah, juga mengusir kehausan..
